Welcome to Anladuy!

"And when it is said to them, "Do not cause corruption on earth," they say, "We are but reformers."
"Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters, but they perceive [it] not."
Holly Quran, Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow), 11-12

This web site is dedicated to a human rights problem in my country (Turkey) and ideas that have risen while dealing with it. It has no commercial intent. It's basically a partial translation of the original Turkish site which has been online since 2005. The original site includes some articles regarding how I view the matters of my country and the world in general which I will work to translate as much as I find time.

In the year 1996 when I was 17 years old, I had some problems in high school. A gang leader called Selhim uttered and circulated slander against me. Since people love gossips it spreaded very quickly. And once it is wide-spread, no matter how I said it's a "lie", people responded "then why does everybody says so?!". And the big issue just got HUGE when the Turkish media broadcasted it...

As world citizens, you may have the perception that Islam (my belief) is directly related to terrorism and bloodshed as I know there is propaganda in the West such as "not all the muslims are terrorists but all the terrorists are muslims". I sense this has been on the rise since 9/11 yet it is a 100.0% void claim. The reason of terrorism is completely political and due to the imbalance of the world economy. It's a cyclic loop: Terrorism causes poverty and poverty feeds terrorism. Actually my country (Turkey) has suffered a lot more from terrorism than the USA and Europe. Since 1980s, PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party), which is accepted as a terrorist organization by the USA and EU, has been responsible for more than 40,000 deaths (more than ten times of the 9/11 tragedy). That figure includes not only villagers, teachers, doctors, engineers who were working in the Eastern Turkey to bring a higher life standard for the Kurdish people, but also militants who were given heroine to feel like "heros" while slaughtering them. So I know what terrorism is and condemn it.

And in the Holly Quran it is clearly stated that "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion." [Surat Al-Baqarah (The Cow), 256] and "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." [Surat Al-Ka-firu-n (The Disbelievers), 6] which I believe are self-explanatory of how Islam and as a muslim I view other beliefs and cultures.

"Indeed, those who [falsely] accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment."
"On a Day when their tongues, their hands and their feet will bear witness against them as to what they used to do."
"That Day, Allah will pay them in full their deserved recompense, and they will know that it is Allah who is the perfect in justice.."
Holly Quran, Surat An-Nu-r (The Light), 23-25

When I called the media for a right to self-defense on the air, they have shamelessly rejected me whose evidence I uploaded to my Turkish site. I think I will find a program to write subtitles before I put them up here. And when we tried to take this to court, due to enormous repression and helpnessness in collecting evidence, it turned out to be extremely difficult. Yet I have made some inquries despite everything.

It is my view that the reason some people tend to insult children as such is to leave orphans back in the life race. This is forbidden in Islam. Selhim and his supporters' main goal is to establish a world order that could be called aristocracy in which the meritocracy in states and societies are demolished and all the government/business positions are inherited from father to son. That is why he defamed me, taking advantage of my psychological issue back then and continued doing so for the past 14 years. This was the system which brought the 600 years old Ottoman Empire to its end. If you consider that the United States is less than 300 years old, you may grasp what a deep impact this could do to the world and its people.

You may ask "How do you put food on table when you are so defamed?". The answer is I have authored some software that I market at www.iqproxyserver.com. Not a very big business yet growing.

The Logic Behind the Corruption Economy

Few days ago there was a news in the newspapers. The title was "73% of the Chinese involved in corruption". What was the cause?

"According to the poll results the reasons people choosing this way are judging other people's income, believing that profit will come from fraud and when it is detected the charges being low."

Sociologist Yu Hai from the Fudan University in Shangai said in an open and changing world the risk and punishment of corruption is not as hard as it used to be; weak belief and lack of wisdom are the causes of it.

People judging other people's income is called committing "haset" (pronounced as "huss-at") in Turkish. It is actually a word coming from Arabic and I wrote an article about this before. (I hope to be able to translate more of my articles in the upcoming days--it could be one of those). When I wrote that article, it was before this research was published.

Okay but how could societies which used to work and earn and live it it that become this way?

In Turkey I am sure most of my citizens have witnessed that some people when they hear somebody being arrested due to corruption, just say "Wow! What a take away!" (in Turkish this means "what a nice stealing"). In this way, they praise those who got rich no matter in what way become so. After some point such cases become ordinary. Let's listen to what the lastest prophet (SAV) said regarding this:

"When a sinner commits a sin, a black point is painted in his/her heart. If he confesses (to Allah) and stops doing it (in Turkish/Arabic this is called "Tovbe"), that point disappears. If he recurs it, then that point enlarges and covers all his/her heart and the heart becomes dark."

"When somebody persists doing sin, his heart becomes sealed and after a while he or she could no longer do good deeds"

As I was unable to find a scientific research made on this subject in Turkey, I could only speak with respective to my observations. Look what the Chinese researchers have found:

"It is estimated that the Chinese officials make a total of 800 BILLION USD annually in secret income..."

So this means in China, there has been quite a heart darkening!

One successful way to make a person or a society insensitive to crime and unfairness is to make them full of "guilty consciense". Let's consider the people who wows the thiefs. If he was to find a way to do it himself, he too would do it. But he would also lose his say in judging people who steals millions of times more than him such as those bankers in Turkey in 2001 (at that time the bank assests were given as debt with extremely good interest rates and no assurance to the other companies of the bank owners. When the crisis arose, companies shrank and banks could not pay back the money they gathered from the people--a total of $70 billion was paid by the government when Turkey was a country of only 200 billion GDP!).

Throughout the history of humanity, there has been times when people corrupted their systems. It should never be forgotten that "a person who commits 'tovbe' is an innocent person" (this is a famous hadith). And it is not right -as they say here- to say that "this is the way it is today".

"Then fight (O Muhammad ) in the Cause of Allah, you are not tasked (held responsible) except for yourself, and incite the believers (to fight along with you), it may be that Allah will restrain the evil might of the disbelievers. And Allah is Stronger in Might and Stronger in punishing.
Surah An-Nisa (The Women), 84

We should never forget that all the "you"s and "O Muhammad"s in Quran are actually a call to all of us.
